Predicting Weather

As we have discussed, analyzing and interpreting weather and patterns can be challenging, but fun. Here is the assignment.

1. Go to http://accuweather.com
2. Look at Radar/Satellite Combo map for the United States.
3. Analyze where precipitation is occurring.
4. Find the current temperature for that region.
5. Predict what type of precipitation will occur.
6. Explain how you find out which region will have precipitation and how you determined what type will occur in 2-3 sentences. Give two reasons why it is important to know why it is important to predict weather in 2-3 sentences. Post your two reasons and give feedback on 2 other blog postings in the class.
